BeckElec Inc. of Phoenix, AZ has announced the development of a highly stable TCXO that is a more economically acceptable replacement for expensive OCXOs. The new BTH5032 boasts a temperature stability of ±0.14 ppm over -20 to +70 °C or ±0.28 ppm over -40 to +85 °C. The frequency range available for the BTS5032 is between 10.000 MHz to 52.000 MHz, with an HCMOS output, and achieves a relatively low phase noise of  -145 dBc/Hz at 1 kHz bandwidth.

The small package size of 5.0 x 3.2 x 1.65 mm will free up valuable board space and provide a stable reference for any system requiring an ultra stable master clock. The BTS5032 also has a pin 1 option for either Enable/Disable or voltage control.

The BTH5032 is a priced at just $17.50 at 1k making it more economical then a traditional OCXO.
